New Radiology Department I
As part of a major renovation project a new Radiology Department was created in 2008 on the ground floor with a total area of approx. 1200 m². Since its completion in October 2008, it has offered the most up-to-date radiology provision in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen
Range of services
- Digital X-ray diagnostics
- Digital fluoroscopy workstation
- Full-field digital mammography
- 64-slice spiral computed tomography (CT)
- Whole-body magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)
- 2-level digital subtraction angiography (DSA)
- Ultrasound with high-resolution probes.
The devices work completely digitally. X-ray and MRI images are stored electronically along with all required data and are available to the treating practitioners together with the findings. Thanks to the complete digitalisation of the Radiology Department, the examination procedures have been optimised and the waiting times and hospitalisation periods for patients have been reduced. Unfortunately, due to the major construction works there have been unavoidable problems as a result of noise. We trust you will be understanding in this matter.
