Nursing Care

With a workforce of 480 the nursing staff forms the largest occupational group at the St. Barbara Klinik. The Director of Nursing is a member of the Board of Directors of the hospital and, together with the Heads of Nursing Care, is responsible for quality assurance in the provision of nursing care to patients and for the management of the nursing staff.

The Director of Nursing defines the basic framework for the delivery of planned professional care, based on the individual needs of the patient.
