Our quality standards

We implement our collaboratively developed mission statement in our everyday activities using the methods of total quality management. We are constantly assessing our achievements, developing our improvement potentials and building on our strengths. To help in the achievement of our aims, we make use of external quality assurance measures, internal professional development, project groups and quality circles. The ultimate measure of our activities are the patients who have been entrusted to our care as well as our residents and visitors. For this reason we have set up an Ethics Committee. Our quality standards are regularly inspected by independent outside bodies and certificated for the entire hospital or sections of the hospital. Since 2005 we have been awarded the dual seal of quality for religious hospitals from the proCum Cert and KTQ organisations. We also have other awards e.g. for environmental protection, nutrition as well as for the Breast Centre and Gastrointestinal Centre.
We ensure the transparency of our work and our strengths by means of annual Quality Reports.
